Mason & Catie | George Eastman Museum Engagement Session

On a gorgeous August day, I drove to the George Eastman Museum in Rochester, NY for Catie and Mason’s engagement session!

The George Eastman Museum is one of my favorite locations in Rochester! It was the perfect place for their engagement session! The weather was perfect and these two made my job SO fun and easy. I mean how stunning are they together?! So many favorites from their session! ?

Natalie & Stephen | Chimney Bluffs State Park Engagement Session

From the second I met Natalie and Stephen, I knew they were my ideal couple! They are the type that you instantly click with. Not only did they absolutely rock their engagement session, but they look this good after driving 2.5 hours with their sweet pup Sally and gracious future MIL to photograph here! When I sent Natalie engagement session locations, she immediately fell in love with stunning Chimney Bluffs State Park.

Let the countdown begin for their wedding in 2022!!!

Claudia & Joe | Gorgeous Country Skaneateles Engagement Session

I've been photographing Joe's family for a few years at their beautiful lake home on Skaneateles Lake. I received a message from his sister letting me know Joe had driven up in his Mercedes van with his girlfriend and had proposed! They were looking to have an engagement session at the same overlook where they got engaged. It was perfect timing because I was photographing Joe's family that same week. There is something unexplainably sweet about doing several sessions with one family. There becomes this deep connection where I feel like it's like meeting up with old friends!

I met Claudia and Joe at the Skaneateles overlook the spot where Joe proposed on top of his van. With a strong haze and overcast weather, we weren't able to see the lake but we had some pretty incredible light. These two were an absolute dream to work with. Not only are they stunning together, but they are some of the kindest individuals I've had the pleasure to photograph. Enjoy some of my absolute favorites from their session.

Maggie & Ben | Adirondack Engagement Session

The sweetest email popped in my inbox one day from Maggie. She went to college with a sweet friend who passed my name along. In Maggie's email, she shared how she met her fiance and all about their love for nature as a couple. They grew up around Lake Michigan and have a deep passion for just about everything outdoors. Ben is currently stationed at Fort Drum while Maggie is back in their hometown of Indiana. Totally unfamiliar with the area, I sent them images of this incredible location and they fell in love. One of the joys of my job is working with my clients to find an incredible location. Maggie flew in on Memorial weekend and we had an amazing morning capturing this incredible session.

I often recommend to my couples to think outside the box when it comes to their engagement session location. The pictures are so much more meaningful when the place represents your relationship. This was truly a magical place that represented Maggie and Ben so well.

The instant I met Maggie and Ben, I knew this session would be so fun! Not only did we find SO many similarities in our stories, but these two were so full of life and way too much fun to be around. They are stunning together and so photogenic? I mean, c'mon!!! This session will always be a favorite of mine!

Jonathan & Melanie | George Eastman Museum Engagement Session

Melanie called me a few days before the session, and our original location for the session had turned into a mud pit. We called an audible and last minute switched locations to the George Eastman Museum. Friends, can I just say that Melanie made the BEST call. Wait until you see these unbelievable lilac trees. France? Italy? Or Rochester, NY? I will let you decide.

Melanie and Jonathan are stunning together!!! But more than anything, they are so easy to be around. Even with a change of locations and all the chaos of planning a wedding, they have been so filled with joy. I cannot wait for their 2022 wedding at Crispin Hills. So excited to get Melanie and Jonathan back in front of my camera!

Alex & Laura | Lorenzo State Historic Site Engagement Session

This past week I met up with Laura and Alex and instantly felt like I was meeting up with old friends. When we had our initial call, I knew instantly that they were the perfect ENP couple. They were full of so much joy and excitement for their wedding day. Their focus was on having vendors who they connect with and will share in this amazing new season. Uhh yes, please!!!!

It's hard to imagine, but Laura told me she was a bit nervous about the session. You wouldn't be able to tell in a single photo because these two were naturals! We started their session at Lorenzo State Historic Site during golden hour. This property was starting to get full bloom, and after a week of rain, the sunshine peeked through for the whole sessiono.

Congrats Laura and Alex! Counting down the days until your 2022 wedding. in a new tab)

Joshua & Hayley | SUNY Fallbrook Engagement Session

Oswego, NY Engagement Shoot

This session, friends. Where do I even begin? Let’s start from the beginning. I have known Joshua for his whole life, but I just had the sweet privilege of meeting his sweet fiancé Hayley.

Joshua and Hayley met while attending the same church. Hayley’s sister was the one who told her that she met her future husband. Their love story started with a simple introduction and since has grown into this beautiful story. Coming from someone who got married young, their story is so sweet to me. What an amazing joy in life that they get to share so many of life’s big milestones. It’s an honor to be part of capturing this new season in their life. They both have such a sweet spirit and calm demeanor that makes being around them so easy.

Nick & Meghan | Green Lakes Engagement Session

We kicked off the spring engagement season with a beautiful golden hour session at Green Lakes State Park. I met up with Meghan and Nick just as the sun was starting to peek behind the trees. The light at their session is what every photographer's dreams are made of. I loved working with them to bring this session to life.

Meghan and Nick are truly made for each other. Their love was effortless as they fell naturally into each pose with limited direction. I am so looking forward to their wedding this fall in the Adirondacks.
